Andrej Zupan has many years of experience in project management and leadership. After finishing his management studies, where he served as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, he continued to work in the fields of IT Project Management and Business Process Optimization. There he acquired a background in Quality Management, Lean Production, and Process Improvement. Additionally, Andrej has a great deal of knowledge in IT System Development and Implementation. For the last 10 years, he has been focusing on start-up founding, running, and consulting, during which he ran a gamification app start-up and consulted many others. Throughout his business endeavors, Andrej also developed several leadership skills, working in a variety of different teams developing new projects and newly-founded start-ups. The variety of skills, knowledge, and experience makes him a great choice for Blockbird CEO.
Miha Maček studied Business Management and started his professional path at the largest Slovenian insurance company, where he worked in the Human Resources sector for several years. He continued his professional journey at an international distribution company. He started his work as COO in the logistics department where he handled international transport and customer communication. Later he switched to a department where he was in charge of product development. Recently, after successfully achieving the company's goals, he was promoted to Business Manager. He is the head of the Purchasing and Sales Department, co-operating with many foreign suppliers.
Grega Švabič is a Brand Manager, Producer, and Production Sound Mixer. In his line of work, he gained a lot of experience with various technologies. With his organizational and brand-development experience, he is handling the team and managing product, strategic analytics, and the cooperation between different sectors of the company.
Klemen Methans has a Master's degree in Organization and Management of Information Systems. His diverse skill sets are adding a vital contribution to our team. From system administration skills (virtualization, hardware, software, cloud, networking) and programming skills (Java, Html, blockchain) to organizational skills (managing workflows, teams, projects). His years in IT took him to all job levels – from IT maintenance, System administration, and IT engineering to the Head of an IT department. In recent years he devoted his private time to gathering knowledge on IT security systems and distributed ledger technologies, mostly blockchain and smart contracts based projects.
Boštjan Kožuh is a BI/AI ninja with more than 15 years of relevant experience. He holds a Master's degree in Information Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In his endeavors he is building on valuable experience he gained from the perspectives of developing, implementing and using business intelligence and analytics solutions. In his past roles he was heading and establishing Business Intelligence, Information Management, and Web Development departments at the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, global analytics vendor SAS, and one of the largest regional IT vendors, Adacta. Having held various roles and worked with clients across a range of industries including but not limited to the travel industry, insurance and banking, telecommunications, utilities, and the public sector. He is highly experienced in engaging with top management and senior executives and is able to progress programmes at various delivery phases with expertise in Benefits Realization Management (BRM).
Uroš Kumer has a degree in Political Science, but his career soon shifted, and now he has years of experience in Customer Relations and Quality Control Services. He started several companies across different industries where he was dealing with numerous customers – from high-profile clients in the Mega Yacht industry and later in the Yacht industry to a vast base of customers in the tourism sector. All of the mentioned industries demand a high level of professionalism and attention, which Uroš delivered and is still delivering with his ongoing projects/companies. Aliash Tepina has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. As an actor, he has an active career, mostly on television, but also on the big screens. His most notable appearances include Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Silent Witness,” and “Law & Order: UK” among various Slovenian films and TV shows. During his studies, he started producing short video content, which later evolved into him becoming a producer-oriented mostly towards commercial content. He has produced TV commercials for many major Slovenian brands such as Pivovarna Union, Gorenje, Telekom, Cockta, and Mobitel.

Petar Perčič is a graphic design graduate with over 15 years of professional experience in advertising and digital visual communications. Having worked with the biggest advertising agencies in Slovenia, such as Pristop, Luna, and Renderspace, his designs left a mark on some of the biggest campaigns in the country. In the last couple of years his work shifted towards a more digital approach, giving him the opportunity to further expand his knowledge and skills. As our Art Director he introduces a wealth of experience and is responsible for bringing Blockbird’s visual artistic elements to life.
Špela is an experienced graphic designer easily transitioning between both digital and print. She is designing visual stories and experiences that engage people and enhance brands, focusing her career on projects and organisations she believes in and values. She will be using her skillset to support the team by taking care of the visual communication and representation of the company.

Rok Sosic is a senior researcher in Prof. Leskovec's group at Stanford University, working on tools for large-scale network analytics. In the Academia he published over 40 papers, receiving awards at Supercomputing (1996), SIGMOD (2015) and a “Top 10 Paper over 20 years” in the field of High-Performance Distributed Computing (HPDC 2012). Being in the industry for over 15 years, he led one of the first grid computing deployments on Wall Street and later headed engineering at Turbolinux, one of the world's top 3 Linux distributors at that time with 10s of millions of users. Before joining Stanford he led engineering efforts at SkyGrid, a leading aggregator of online media news, with millions of App downloads and the App Store's Best News Award of 2011 from Apple. Rok received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
Marko Bohanec is a leading Slovenian researcher in the field of decision support models and systems. He works at the Department of Knowledge Technologies at the Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia. Also, he is a professor of computer science at the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia. His research interests include decision making, decision analysis, decision support, decision modeling, artificial intelligence, expert systems, Machine Learning, and data mining. He is one of the pioneers of qualitative multi-attribute modeling, which combines decision analysis and Artificial Intelligence to support people in making complex decisions. He is a co-author of the method DEX and computer program DEXi, which are used for developing qualitative hierarchical decision models nationally and internationally. In the last decade, he has been involved as a decision support expert in European projects for the production, distribution, and quality control of food and feed (projects ECOGEN, SIGMEA, Co-Extra, DECATHLON), disease management in health-care (PD_manager, HeartMan), and nuclear safety (NARSIS). He has co-authored more than 70 scientific journal papers.
Aleksander Pivk, PhD, has been employed at the SAS Institute since 2006 as an Analytics Practice Leader for Central Europe and the Adriatic. He is responsible for creating and deploying innovative approaches to solving challenging business problems using advanced analytical approaches, primarily in banking, telecommunications, and retail industries. His main fields range over various Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domains.
He is a part-time researcher in the Department of Intelligent Systems at the largest Slovenian research organization, The Jožef Stefan Institute, in Ljubljana, while being a lecturer at the University of Ljubljana in the Faculty of Economics and Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School. He has co-authored several research articles in top-ranking AI journals and leading Machine Learning scientific conferences. He is also a regular speaker at numerous Data Science conferences and a member of the ECCAI (European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence) and SLAIS (Slovenian Artificial Intelligence Society).

After moving back to Europe he was managing growth for a multinational pharma start-up, helping it grow and scale across five different markets.
By the end of 2017, Jure wrote the first whitepaper for certification with the non-fungible tokens technology and co-founded 0xcert, a framework for developers to build powerful dapps, enabling everyone to easily authenticate and manage their digital or real-world assets. As the first CEO, he succeeded in building the team and led the company through a successful ICO that raised over $10 million from investors worldwide.

Mirjana Kljajić Borštnar is a Ph.D. of Management Information Systems and an MSc in Decision Support Systems. She is currently in the position of an associate professor of Information Systems at the faculty of Maribor and a member of the Laboratory for Decision Processes and Knowledge-Based Systems.
Her research covers decision support systems, knowledge from data discovery, and expert systems. Her recent work is focused on data-driven decision-making (Artificial Intelligence methods, introducing interpretable Machine Learning models into organizational learning, dark data, big data analytics, and data lakes).
She has co-authored several research articles in top-ranking AI journals and has numerous experiences working on EU and national projects.
Andreja Pucihar is an Associate Professor and head of MIS study programs at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor in Slovenia. Her recent research is mainly focused to IS innovation, in particular to digital transformation and e-business models. She is a head of eCenter. She has published over 170 papers in journals and conference proceedings. She has been involved into several national, international (EU, CE, cross-border, bilateral) and industry projects, mainly focusing to digitalization, IS innovation and support to SMEs. Since 2009 she has been serving as a conference chair of annual international Bled eConference, focusing on electronic interactions research since 1988. She is an associate editor of high ranked journals: »Electronic Markets - The International Journal on Networked Business« journal and a co-editor of »Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research«.
Matej studied Money and Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. From 2005 to 2007, he gained knowledge and experience in economy in the field of insurance, the food industry, and marketing. From 2007 to 2011, he worked in various organizations in leading positions, where he mainly dealt with the restructuring of business operations and the optimization of work processes. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as an external collaborator in project management in the field of culture, social, and public administration. He is a member of several supervisory boards and the author of articles on entrepreneurship, leadership, human resource management, organization development, and organizational culture. Since 2013 he has been working as a consultant and provider of training workshops in the field of introducing changes, lean production methods, new culture, and climate in the company, and business ethics – encouraging creativity and innovation while motivating and communicating internal and external corporate communications, public speaking exercises, and teambuilding.
After studying law at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, Jan began his career with a collective organization for exercising music copyright. He acquired intellectual property knowledge in the continuation of his professional career with a company that has grown from a garage business to one of the most recognizable actors among the mobile application providers in the world. Due to the worldwide spread, he has specialized in the global protection of intellectual property rights and has also been involved in the processes of enforcing these rights. He was part of the team that helped a young company grow from a small to medium-sized business, where he accumulated practical experience concerning the challenges that come with rapid growth.
He advised young and mature companies about the strategy to protect intellectual property as well as legal problems in business strategies.

Miha has more than a decade of experience in working as general counsel to domestic and international SMEs. In recent years his focus is on handling legal issues related to modern technology companies, including crypto. He is heavily involved in turning the local legal environment for the better, which is a result of his involvement in the most successful and also the most problematic international "crypto" projects based in Slovenia. Due to his previous engagements, he has a wide network of legal experts from around the globe, which is a "conditio sine qua non" for assuring legal certainty in an ICO.
Brigham is a senior executive and strategic legal adviser with 15 years experience providing legal services in international environments. He is a general counsel, who can advise on matters as diverse as commercial agreements, corporate structures and governance, employment matters, intellectual property, financing agreements, litigation, real estate development and transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management. He has litigated important and novel civil cases and has argued before the US Federal District and appellate courts as well as the California Superior Courts, Courts of Appeal, and the Supreme Court.
